Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- to launch in September

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- is confirmed for launch in September.

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION-, new game project developed by GMO Internet based and in the same universe as the popular manga Kaikan ♥ Phrase, is going to be released this September on Android and iOS.

The game was originally planned for launch in spring 2019 but it was later delayed.

Kaikan Phrase CLIMAX -NEXT GENERATION- is a spin off to the original Kaikan ♥ PhraseNEXT game.

According to the information released on a special broadcast in 2018, the game is going to be fully voiced (with parts recorded using the dummy head mic) and the story is similar in length with a visual novel (over 150.000 words) and quality. The game includes dating simulation and band development elements.

The protagonist is Miu Koharu (player character). She’s a third-year university student that learns about the opening of a national vocal audition and, in a last chance to pursue her dream of being a singer, decides to participate in it.

The game counts with 4 bands: ΛuciferSylphyXXX and F☆light.

A snippet of the game’s theme song, NEW GENERATION, performed by Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Yuma Uchida, was released in 2018. Check it HERE.
