[Oricon Weekly] Ra*bits, Vazzy and more top this week’s chart

We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the fourth week of April – which includes singles/albums released between 23/04/2018 and 29/04/2018. Taking into account that this week there weren’t any male seiyuu singles charting, we won’t cover that section.

Let’s take a look at the data.

Oricon Weekly Album ranking

#6

NEW ENTRY: Ra*bits “Ensemble Stars Album Series Ra*bits”

Ra*bits are the second Ensemble Stars!‘s unit to release a full-length album. Upon release, “Ensemble Stars! Album Series Ra*bits” rose to Oricon Daily’s top 10 spots, managing to never leave it during its first week of sale. By the end of the week the album had sold a bit under 15.000 copies, earning a fantastic #6 rank on Oricon Weekly.

We’re currently working on this review. To be released next week.

#31

NEW ENTRY: DearDream & R.O.N “Hataraku Oniisan! Music Selection Rerekisho 01”

DearDream and R.O.N‘s “Hataraku Oniisan! Music Selection Rerekisho 01” had a rather mild first week of sales. The album, featuring DearDream‘s songs featured in the anime as well as the soundtrack by R.O.N sold a bit over 2.800 copies on its first week of sales, earning the group a comfortable #31.

#46

NEW ENTRY: Vazzy “VAZZROCK Unit Song 1 Vazzy Vol.1 – Shido –”

Vazzy made their debut as a group with “VAZZROCK Unit Song 1 Vazzy Vol.1 – Shido –“. Although the album had a poor first week of sales (physically), it managed to rank upon release at #10 on Oricon Daily, the highest a VAZZROCK release has ever managed to get on the daily charts. By the end of the week, Vazzy‘s album had sold a bit over 1.500 copies, ranking #46 on this week’s chart.

We reviewed this released. You can find our review HERE.

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. The Oricon charts depicted here only count physical copies. Digital figures and ranks might be different.
