[Oricon Weekly] Band Yarouze!, QUELL, GROWTH, Nobuhiko Okamoto and more featured on Oricon

We return for yet another Oricon Weekly report. This time around there are a lot of changes on the chart. Several changes and few new entries complete the results the last week of October.

This article covers the fourth week of October – which includes singles/albums released between 23/10/2017 and 29/10/2017.

Band Yarouze!’s Duel Gig album charts high

Blast

A new Duel Gig album was released last week. Duel Gig 2 features songs by all bands part of Band Yarouze!‘s franchise (OSIRIS, BLAST, Fairy April and Cure2Tron). The album snatched a comfortable #14 place last week.

Idolmaster SideM

After a solid first week of sales that earned this release a 8th place on Oricon Weekly, the album dropped a lot on the chart during the last week. “ORIGIN@L PIECES 08” is currently on #48.

Oricon Weekly Single ranking

NEW ENTRY: Nobuhiko Okamoto achieves another top 15

Okamoto‘s Halloween themed single “Melty Halloween” snatched a fantastic 12th place after being released last week. This is currently the highest ranking single in his career as a solo artist.

NEW ENTRY: GROWTH chart their highest since debut

GROWTH released last week what is quite possibly one of their best singles to date. “Mahou no Kizuna” was featured as the opening theme for TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION‘s 4th episode and quickly impressed TSUKIPRO‘s fans. The single managed to break the top 20 barrier, achieving a safe 19th place.

QUELL drop from #12

After debuting at #12, their highest rank on Oricon, QUELL managed to drop some places last week. The single now occupies #39.
