Idolmaster SideM units to perform opening theme for the anime series

Idolmaster SideM‘s anime premiere is just right around the corner. The smartphone game inspired anime is set to premiere on October 7th and, besides the news regarding Jupiter‘s prologue chapter that will be released a week prior to the series’ premiere, there’s more news that will be of interest to their fans.

As we’ve mentioned above the anime series will premiere on October 7th and will go head-to-head with the strong competition from TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION and Dynamic Chord – two popular music/idol/band centric anime that were greenlit earlier this year and will premiere in October.

It was announced today the opening song for the series titled “Reason!!“. The song will be performed by DRAMATIC STARS, Beit, S.E.M, High✕Joker, W and Jupiter.

Reason!!” is scheduled to be released on 15/11/2017, available in regular and limited editions.

Besides the song’s title and preview, Lantis announced the single will include a total of 3 tracks. More details about this release will be announced in the upcoming months.

The limited edition comes with:

  • Special bromide/jacket illustration (1 random from 6 types)
  • Blu-ray includes non credit opening credits + “Greeting Tour” digest video
  • Illustration jacket drawn by A-1 Pictures

On CDJAPAN both editions come with a special first press bonus:

First Press Detail an illustration card randomly selected from six kinds + application card through serial code (until December 10, 2017)

Reason!!” is already available for pre-order on CDJAPAN for all overseas fans.

On another note:

Idolmaster Side M‘s anime official account on Twitter released today the first CM to promote the anime series.

The first key visual for the series was released in August.

A rhythm game for the franchise titled “Idolmaster  SideM LIVE ON ST@GE!” is already live.
