[Poll] 2015 Single of the year – Cast your votes

single of the year master poll

After the amazing feedback we got from our readers we’re here to present you a brand new poll. As we all know a lot of things happen in the music business in the span of just one year. We might not know it but more than 40 releases were made – and this just from male seiyuu.

2015 was a busy year with lots of new singles – more than usual -, some of them incredibly good, while others barely managed to impress us. But not everything is about us reviewing their work. We want to know who made an impression in our readers. What was that single that refused to get out of your head, that single that impressed you to the point that you’re now a fan of that artist.

Tetsuya Kakihara, Toyonaga Toshiyuki, Showtaro Morikubo, Mamoru Miyano, Kenichi Suzumura, OLDCODEX are just some of the names that made their respective comebacks and are featured on this top – 100% voted by our fans.

So how is this going to work?

  • You can only vote once a day on your 3 favorite singles
  • You’re welcomed to share this poll on social media as often as you can
  • Voting is open until 23:59 December 31st 2015
  • Results will be out on January 2nd
  • The top will only feature the top 10 singles

Cast your votes, have fun and make sure to wait for the results in January. Until then,

Happy holidays and Happy New Year everyone!

The Hand That Feeds HQ founder, content creator, and music reviewer. Basically, the only person managing everything at The Hand That Feeds HQ. Stumbling upon Mamoru Miyano's "Orpheus" in 2011 was the start of this journey. If music is thought-provoking or deep, you may find her writing almost essays (not limited to, but it happens a lot with Soma Saito's music). She's the producer and host of the male seiyuu-centric podcast, SEIYUU LOUNGE (see Spotify link in this profile).
  1. The singles that impressed me most were
    – Hatano Wataru’s ‘Kakusei no Air’
    – Toyonaga Toshiyuki’s ‘The Day You Laugh’ and
    – Lagrange Point’s ‘Ai to Iu Kotoba wo ….’

I also really liked Marginal #4’s ‘Yo-Ho’ and Showtaro’s ‘Phantom Pain’ but the top 3 stood out for me. 🙂

  2. Excelente actor de voz, excelente cantante!!! Super tierno, super simpatico, divertido y alegre!!! Aguante Mamoru Miyano!!! Te amo Mamo *-*
