GACKT to release his first album in 7 years

The long wait is finally over. Gackt‘s fans have been wondering when and if there would be an album release for 7 years. His last venture “Diabolos” was released back in 2006 but it wasn’t like GACKT hadn’t released any music during that span of seven years.

Several iconic singles were released: Jesus, Ghost, Redemption, Ever, HakuroSetsugekka -The End Of Silence-, the most recent release ARROW, between many others, the only problem laid on whether GACKT would make a proper comeback with a new album.

After 7 years craving for a new album, fans can finally rejoice as GACKT has officially announced that his 7th album is in the works and is meant to end the “Moon project” kicked off in 2002.

Last Moon” is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2016 in March. Pre-orders for the special edition are already open on GACKT‘s online store but are set to close on 05/11/2015.

The tracklist is still unknown as it is the contents for each of the editions available. More details will be unveiled as soon as those are available.
