SPYAIR- GLORY (Review)

spyair

After the vocalist, Ike tried to end the band due to a health problems related with his vocal chords, several bands alongside the members of SPYAIR tried to persuade him not to do so and, a few months after that, we finally have a new single released. GLORY is their 15th single and it’s a special one only being available on iTunes in Japan or for the fans that’ll buy their new album BEST. So without any further ado let’s get started.

Here’s some information regarding the single:

Track by track analysis:

1- GLORY

Starting of this track we have Ike‘s vocal work and a powerful piano but that is only the beginning of it because soon we have that  usual SPYAIR instrumental with the guitars and drums that really shine throughout the whole song. In GLORY the bass is the instrument we really cannot forget about because it is in “solo mode” until the end of the instrumental. The best part of this whole track is really the chorus where we can really understand that is very powerful and with a lot of emotion in it. As usual we have a guitar solo that it isn’t particularly fast but it is very good and the same thing can be said about this track as a whole. 5/5

Final rating: 5 stars

This single was a very short one but a very good one especially if we think that for some fans, reading the news about Ike, some might even have thought that it was the end of SPYAIR but the situation resolved itself and now we have GLORY. Although this band is already pretty good I think it’s fair to say that in the future they will grow even more as a band and hopefully in the future we can listen to more of their songs.

GLORY is available on iTunes Japan.
