VAMPIRE’S LOVE (-Piano Ver.-)
VAMPIRE’S LOVE (-Kevin Breton Remix-)

Track by track analysis

Starting with a beautiful piano in an acapela, slowly making its way into the instrumental we have synths that transform VAMPIRE’S LOVE into a very melodic track. The way Hyde adjusted his normal way of singing to this song, that at first it’s not rock but that after the intro will have some elements of the typical VAMPS‘s instrumental added to it, was simply amazing. In this track and, especially in the “piano version”, we can listen to the strings that start to shine more after the guitar solo that was very melodic and beautiful whereas in the “remix version” we have a little of synths and drums added to the instrumental making the song a little drum and bass which an unexpected idea but not a bad one. In this track the whole instrumental just completes itself, the rock elements with the classical ones just put the whole song together. If you listen to it with attention you will notice that this track makes a full cycle, starting with the melodic piano then turning to a slightly more rock song only to then return to the piano that will end the track . 5/5

Final rating:5 stars

This single was extremely good and completely different from the previous one. While in the GET AWAY / THE JOLLY ROGER we had all the rock elements that make VAMPS‘s songs sound so good like the guitars, as well as the type of  track that really is characteristic of them, but them we have in VAMPIRE’S LOVE a calm song that was well put together. I think that if we have something more to say here is that VAMPS really can pull off this kind of songs without making their “sound” lose its quality. Let’s hope their next work released will be as good or even better than this one.

VAMPIRE’S LOVE is available for purchase on CDJAPAN for all overseas fans.
