[Oricon Weekly] Ryuseitai, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, A3ders! and more top this week’s Oricon Chart

We’re back with a new Oricon Weekly roundup.

This article covers the first week of March – which includes singles/albums released between 05/03/2018 and 11/03/2018.

Let’s take a look at the data.

Oricon Weekly Album ranking

#2

NEW ENTRY: Ryuseitai “Ensemble Stars! Album Series Ryuseitai”

Following the well known tradition of all Ensemble Stars!‘s releases having successful first weeks of sales, upon release, Ryuseitai‘s first full-length album “Ensemble Stars! Album Series Ryuseitai” was always clinging to the top spots on Oricon Daily. The album, the first one for this unit and for the franchise as a whole, scored a spectacular #2 on Oricon Weekly with a little bit under 27.000 copies sold on its first week.

#15

NEW ENTRY: Toshiyuki Toyonaga “With LIFE”

Toshiyuki Toyonaga started a new chapter in his solo career with the release of his first full-length album under his one man label T’s MUSIC. “With LIFE” had a steady week of sales that earned this album a top 15 place on Oricon Weekly.

#26

Uta no Prince-Sama Shining Masterpiece Show “Lycolis no Mori”

On its second week on Oricon, Uta no Prince-Sama Shining Masterpiece Show “Lycolis no Mori” dropped a couple of places from #2 to #26. The album has over 24.000 copies sold (cumulative).

Oricon Weekly Single ranking

#3

NEW ENTRY: A3ders! “Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu☆Blooming!

The massively popular franchise A3! has done it again. A3ders! released their second single “Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu☆Blooming!” and it immediately shot for the top places on Oricon Daily, maintaining its place rather steady but without leaving top 10 during its first week. By the end of March’s first week, the release had a total of 36.388 copies sold, occupying #3 on Oricon Weekly in what is another impressive fact for this franchise.

#32

ST☆RISH “ULTRA BLAST”

Four weeks straight on Oricon Weekly proves the popularity of ST☆RISH‘s latest single, “ULTRA BLAST“. The release continues to drop places on Oricon now occupying #32 (last week was #18). The single has 133.000 copies sold (cumulative).

If there aren’t sales figures on the prints we’ve posted it’s because the music label behind that artist doesn’t want to disclose that information. The Oricon charts only count physical copies. Digital figures and ranks might be different.
