Nobuhiko Okamoto to team up with Trignal for a special single

Unexpected news coming from Kiramune! Nobuhiko Okamoto is to set to collaborate with labelmates Trignal for a special single.

This news has come as a surprise to everyone, mainly because it’s the first time a solo artist under Kiramune has collaborated with a unit.

Nobuhiko Okamoto, that recently released “8piece“, will collaborate with Kiramune‘s current golden unit, Trignal. The trio consisting of Tsubasa Yonaga, Ryohei Kimura and Takuya Eguchi has been on a roll since 2014’s “so funny“.

Pairing up Okamoto and Trignal might sound odd for many but more than it sounding odd, there’s already speculation that the single will be brighter than expected which is not a good indicator for either artist. Now, if this single matches and mixes Trignal‘s quality songs and vocals with Okamoto‘s steady vocals, maybe we can expect something interesting from them.

Unlike Hiroshi Kamiya‘s special single “ISM RHYTHM”, released earlier this year, this special collaboration single won’t be exclusive to digital/online music stores.

The special single is still untitled but it’s already set to be released on 13/09/2017, available exclusively in regular edition.

Regarding the tracklist: it was confirmed by CDJAPAN that this single will come with two tracks – whether it’s two songs or one song + one instrumental, we’ll have to wait until Kiramune releases further details.

Pre-orders on CDJAPAN come with a first come, first served bonus:

More details will be unveiled closer to its release date.
